A national home health care franchise with 150 locations was searching for a VoIP phone system that would enable to them to standardize communications across the nation. They are projected to add forty new franchises a year through 2024.

Challenge

They had engaged several VoIP providers but could not find one to match their unique business model. Their scheduling and recruiting departments each needed to communicate via text with people outside the organization in order to hire new candidates and fill patient care time slots. The phone providers they had tried previously could not accommodate departmental texting so text messages were not being transmitted. In addition, incoming and outgoing calls were being dropped because their phone lines could not accommodate this type of usage.

Solution

My Resource Partners found a VoIP provider that offers departmental group texting in addition to the voice, video, chat and standard texting capabilities offered by hosted phone systems. Employees could easily be added or removed from a departmental text group allowing anyone in the group to respond to urgent matters while the entire group can see the activity. Our consultants negotiated the addition of two features that the franchisees are finding incredibly valuable for training and compliance purposes –transcription and permanent archiving of all calls and text messages.
